About Rainforest Reef
Rainforest Reef is an independent, Canada-wide directory of aquarium shops, tropical fish stores and coral sellers. It exists to answer one everyday question: where can I find a fish or aquarium store near me in Canada?
What the site does
The site is a finder. You search or browse by province and city to find stores that sell freshwater fish, saltwater livestock, corals and reef equipment. Each store page carries the business facts we can verify: name, address, phone, website, hours and store categories.
Saltwater and coral is a filter inside the directory rather than a separate site. Reef keepers can find marine-focused stores alongside general aquarium shops, in one place.
How the data works
- Business facts only. We publish store details such as name, address, phone, website, hours and category. We do not publish third-party ratings or review text.
- First-party reviews. Reviews on this site are written by this site's users and stored by this site. We never import, copy or republish reviews or ratings from other services.
- Listings are added over time. The directory launches with store pages ready and no listings published yet. We add verified stores province by province.
- Corrections welcome. If a store has moved or closed, or a detail is wrong, tell us and we will review it.
Independence
Rainforest Reef is an independent directory. It is not owned by, operated by, or affiliated with any store listed on it, and no store can pay for a better position or a featured badge. If a business we know is listed, it is listed the same as every other business, or left out.
